About The Position

Brighten Life Home Health is hiring a part-time or PRN Certified Nursing Assistant for home health work in Brigham City. The organization specializes in serving veterans while providing services to all people. The role involves assisting residents with daily living and personal care, monitoring and recording vital signs, maintaining orderly rooms, and responding to care needs such as admissions, catheter changes, medication needs, falls, and urgent situations. All care must be documented in accordance with the plan of care.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the State.
Must maintain current certification in the state throughout employment.
Must complete 12 hours of in-service education annually as required by federal regulations, and meet any higher state requirement.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents and families and work cooperatively with coworkers and supervisors.
Must be willing to assist others, including coworkers.
Recent clinical experience or education is required.

Responsibilities

Handle admissions, catheter changes, medication needs, falls, and urgent needs that require attention.
Document all care performed in accordance with the plan of care.
Assist residents with activities of daily living.
Provide hygiene and oral care pursuant to the plan of care.
Assist residents with dressing and grooming according to their needs.
Bathe residents while maintaining privacy, respecting dignity, and providing a safe environment.
Take and record residents’ temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
Maintain residents’ rooms in a neat, orderly, and clutter-free manner.
