About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Med/Surg Department assists with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients. The CNA helps maintain a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. West Anaheim Medical Center is a 219-bed acute-care hospital founded in 1964. Its services include general medical and surgical inpatient care and treatment, emergency services, surgical services, behavioral health, a comprehensive heart center, and diagnostic imaging.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
- Current BLS upon hire and maintain current.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
Nice To Haves
- At least six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office.
Responsibilities
