About The Position

Martha & Mary is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants/Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC/CNA) to join their nursing teams in Poulsbo. Martha & Mary provides a wide continuum of care services for children, seniors, and families, including independent senior living, assisted living, short-term medical care and rehabilitation, long-term care, respite, and Hospice care, as well as childcare services.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of a Nursing Assistant Certification Training Program
  • Ability to engage with seniors, visitors, and the team in a kind, positive, and supportive manner.
  • Ability to provide direct quality care to nursing home residents in a compassionate and professional manner.
  • Ability to assist residents with activities of daily living.
  • Ability to accurately obtain and record vital signs, meal/nourishment intake of residents, and record/communicate information as appropriate.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct quality care to nursing home residents in a compassionate and professional manner.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, which may include assistance with personal care, bathing, toileting, dressing, and assistance with mobility, positioning and transfers.
  • Accurately obtain and record vital signs, meal/nourishment intake of residents, and record/communicate information as appropriate.
  • Engage with seniors, visitors, and the Martha & Mary team in a kind, positive, and supportive manner.
