About The Position
Cascades at Riverwalk is hiring a part-time, night-shift Certified Nursing Assistant for its skilled nursing and rehabilitation community in Midvale, Utah. The community provides long-term and short-term care to residents, including a geriatric population. The CNA supports residents' daily needs, comfort, and dignity while working with nursing staff and building relationships with residents and their families. Requirements
- Current CNA certification.
- Compassionate communication with coworkers and residents.
- Willingness to learn and follow state, local, and federal long-term care guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Answer call lights and support residents' daily needs.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including mobility, bathing, dressing, and meals.
- Monitor residents' comfort, preferences, and dietary needs, and provide care with dignity and respect.
- Document intake and output as needed.
- Promptly report changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff.
- Build relationships with residents and their families.
