CNA Weekend Help
About The Position
BrightStar Care of Omaha is seeking a dedicated, proactive Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our growing team for a consistent weekend 12-hour shift. This CNA role is designed for a professional who thrives in a one-on-one environment and enjoys a mix of clinical support, light organization, and active community engagement. Instead of the frantic, overworked pace of a facility where a CNA is pulled in ten directions, you will spend your shift focusing entirely on one client. You will help them live a full, organized, and active life both at home and within the Omaha community.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Nebraska CNA license in good standing.
- Valid driver's license and insurance are required.
- Comfortable driving the client to appointments and activities.
- Comfortable with light cleaning and keeping a home environment orderly and functional.
Nice To Haves
- Proactive and takes pride in their work environment.
- Takes initiative, whether it's clearing a walkway to prevent a fall or suggesting a walk on a nice day.
Responsibilities
- Assist the client with mobility and range-of-motion exercises.
- Encourage daily physical activity to keep them engaged and healthy.
- Help organize the living area, perform light house cleaning, and ensure the home environment is tidy, safe, and clutter-free.
- Escort the client to medical appointments, errands, or social activities.
- Provide professional CNA support with personal care, ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming), and safe transfers, maintaining the "Higher Standard" of care we are known for.
