About The Position
Miller’s Health Systems is a 100% Employee-Owned company that has served Indiana communities since 1964, providing long-term and short-term residential health care, outpatient, and home health care services. The Certified Nurses Aide (CNA) provides basic care to patients, assists them in daily activities, observes and reports changes in patient conditions to nurses, and collects and records vital patient information. This role is ideal for individuals who are friendly, passionate about serving others, and looking to make a daily difference, also serving as a potential first step into a nursing career.
Requirements
- Previous Experience Working on a Rehab Unit Required
- Certified in the State of Indiana
- Passionate about serving others
- Able to work with a dedicated team
- Professional appearance and behavior
- To conform to the basic qualifications set forth by the Indiana Department of Health (ie: be able to read, write, and perform simple mathematics such as addition and subtraction)
- Successfully complete the Basic Aide Training Course
- To be able to satisfactorily pass the physical examination administered in behalf of gainful employment in the facility
Responsibilities
- Provide basic care to patients
- Assist patients in their daily activities
- Watch for changes in your patients and quickly report them to the team of nurses that work with you
- Collect and record information vital to the patients’ conditions and treatment
