Certified Nursing Assistant CNA Lake Ridge On-Call
About The Position
Lake Ridge Care Center, a Cassia senior community, is hiring an on-call Certified Nursing Assistant to provide person-centered care to older adults. The CNA assists residents with activities of daily living, including toileting, bathing, and dressing, and helps maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. The role works closely with nurses and other team members to support residents’ well-being, independence, and daily care needs. This position is on-call, with a day shift available from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The wage range is $22.60–$24.96 per hour, depending on experience. A $4-per-hour shift differential applies to evening and night shifts. The work location is 310 Lake Blvd S, Buffalo, MN 55313. Requirements
- Current Minnesota Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate.
- At least 6 months of experience.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with residents and staff.
- Ability to work a consistent work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Help residents reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting with personal care and daily living activities.
- Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse according to the individualized care plan.
- Take and record residents’ temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse, and respiration as instructed, and report changes or concerns to the RN.
- Document services performed using a computerized charting system.
- Assist residents with prescribed program activities.
- Observe residents and report changes in physical or emotional condition, including changes in attitude, reaction, or appetite, to the supervisor.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.
- Help ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
