The purpose of this standard procedure is to outline the duties, responsibilities, authority, reporting relationships, and measures of performance for the position of CNA/Direct Support Professional in the Adult Day Health Care program. The basic function of the CNA/DSP is to provide quality social, recreational, vocational and basic community skills as well as personal care for Adult Day Health Care participants under the direction of the Manager of the Adult Day Health Care. The CNA/DSP is also responsible for the daily and monthly documentation in accordance with SCL, MPW, and HCB waiver regulations.
