About The Position

As a Designated Nursing Assistant / Certified Nursing Assistant (DNA/CNA) in Sunrise Senior Living’s skilled nursing community, you provide direct, hands-on care supporting residents’ clinical, personal, nutritional, and restorative needs. Your work helps promote each resident’s dignity, safety, and quality of life. The role includes following Individualized Service Plans, assisting residents with activities of daily living, observing and reporting changes, partnering with licensed nurses, maintaining documentation, and responding to concerns. The position requires an active CNA certification under state regulations and a high school diploma or GED. Skilled nursing or senior care experience is preferred. Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and peak service times is requested.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care based on Individualized Service Plans (ISP).
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, mobility, dining, and toileting.
• Obtain and report vital signs, intake, and changes in condition.
• Partner with licensed nurses on restorative and care planning programs.
• Support fall prevention, skin care, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation and restorative records.
• Respond promptly to resident, family, and visitor concerns.
• Follow infection control, OSHA, and safety guidelines.
