About The Position

Zion’s Way is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide personal care and support to patients receiving home health and hospice services in St. George, Utah. The CNA works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, assisting patients with activities of daily living while promoting comfort, dignity, safety, and quality of life in the home setting. The position is part-time, with a pay range of $16.00–$19.00.

Requirements

• Current CNA certification in the State of Utah.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain it upon hire.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Help patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse.
• Take and document vital signs as assigned.
• Perform light housekeeping related to patient care.
• Support patients and families with compassion and respect.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR charting program.
• Follow infection control, safety, and agency policies and procedures.
• Travel to patient homes within the assigned service area.
