About The Position
Beloit Health System is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Beloit Regional Hospice Team in Beloit, Wisconsin. The position provides personal and supportive care to patients and their families according to each patient's plan of care and under the direction of the RN Case Manager. The role is benefits eligible and scheduled for 40 hours per week, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Requirements
- Current CNA certification with current Illinois and Wisconsin CNA certifications.
- Ability to perform simple mathematical functions.
- CPR certification within three months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Prior home health or hospice experience.
Responsibilities
- Take and record vital signs accurately and promptly, reporting unusual signs and symptoms to appropriate personnel.
- Provide personal hygiene care, including bathing, oral care, hair and nail grooming, and back rubs; maintain a clean and safe environment and document care.
- Assist patients with nutritional needs and document appropriately in the nursing record.
- Assist patients with ambulation and transport by wheelchair, stretcher, or bed while maintaining patient safety.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient, healthcare, and physician-related information and perform duties professionally.
