As a CNA on the Med-Surg unit, you will play a vital role in supporting nurses and caring for patients with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. Requirements

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required (or equivalent experience)
Previous experience in a hospital or Med-Surg setting preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
Monitor and accurately record vital signs, intake/output, and other patient information
Support admissions, discharges, and patient transfers throughout the unit
Assist with ambulation, repositioning, and fall prevention measures
Provide post-operative care support by monitoring patient comfort and reporting concerns
Maintain clean, organized, and safe patient rooms and clinical areas
Respond promptly and compassionately to call lights and patient needs
Observe and report changes in patient condition to the RN or care team
Assist with specimen collection and transport following protocol
Follow infection control, safety, and hospital policies at all times
Deliver exceptional, patient-centered care in a fast-paced Med-Surg environment
