About The Position

Foothills Retirement Community is hiring a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents in a warm, homelike environment. The role is scheduled from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with three-day workweeks and alternating weekends. Employees are paid weekly. The position is part of Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina, whose mission is to enrich the lives of seniors and team members through Relationships, Teamwork, Service, Excellence, and Stewardship.

The CNA provides hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, follows individualized care plans, monitors and reports changes in residents’ health, and helps maintain a clean, safe, DHEC-compliant living space. The CNA works closely with nurses, families, and the care team and maintains required documentation and safety standards. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
• CPR certification.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• 1–3 years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Follow individualized care plans for each resident.
• Create a warm, homelike environment.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ health.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and DHEC-compliant living space.
• Work closely with nurses, families, and the care team.
