CNA | Operating Room Main | Full Time | Day Shift
About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant supports the Operating Rooms Main team by providing hands-on patient support and helping maintain the safe, organized, and efficient environment essential to surgical care. Under the direction of the Unit Director and direct supervision of the Charge RN and/or Staff RN, the CNA facilitates patient care through assistance with activities of daily living and helps provide a clean, comfortable, and safe care environment. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position on a day shift, scheduled for four 10-hour shifts per week during the Monday–Friday work week. Weekend call is required.
Requirements
- Post-high-school specialized training.
- Valid Florida CNA license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Facilitate patient care under the direction of the Unit Director and direct supervision of the Charge RN and/or Staff RN.
- Help provide a clean, comfortable, and safe care environment.
- Support patient comfort and safety and the surgical care environment.
