Certified Nursing Assistant- Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (Pace)
About The Position
Sentara Pace is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a CNA. This is a Full Time, Day Shift position. The position's home base is Norfolk, VA, but it is 90% out in the field, providing care at patient homes throughout Virginia Beach, Norfolk, and Chesapeake. Mileage reimbursement is paid for any miles driven between patient visits. The pay range is $16.92 - $25. We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The role performs basic and routine patient care, such as personal hygiene, toileting, meal preparation and feeding, checks vital signs, intake/output, ambulation and assists patient with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the PACE center or in the home.
Requirements
- Graduate of a state approved Nursing Assistant program/Trade School program (Required)
- For applicants having recently completed an approved Nursing Assistant Program/Trade School program, state CNA certification required within 120 days of hire.
- New hires with existing state CNA must be in good standing.
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
