About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) helps create a warm, supportive, homelike environment in which residents’ well-being, dignity, respect, and individual needs are prioritized. The role includes assisting residents with activities of daily living, providing companionship and reassurance, and getting to know residents’ stories, routines, and preferences. The position is PRN at Hickory Creek at Greensburg.

Requirements

Hold valid and current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Indiana.
Be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and assisting with resident mobility.
Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to senior care excellence.
Have stamina, strength, and endurance to provide nursing services.
Demonstrate supportive presence, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living.
Provide companionship and reassurance to residents.
Help create a comforting, engaging, and homelike environment.
Provide nursing services and assist with resident mobility.
Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to support coordinated, comprehensive care.
