About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support nursing staff in delivering excellent healthcare services.
Requirements
- Active CNA certification
- Previous experience in LTAC, hospital, or similar healthcare setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in LTAC, hospital, or similar healthcare setting preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
- Monitor and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
- Support patients with mobility, including transferring and positioning
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nursing staff
- Assist with medical procedures as directed by nurses
- Provide emotional support and ensure patient comfort
