About The Position
Misericordia Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, a 5-star rated nursing home providing compassionate care to older adults since 1943, is seeking talented and caring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) who value older adults to join their team. This is a weekend-only position on the 2nd shift, offering time and a half for all weekend hours worked. The role involves maintaining high standards of care, assisting residents with their daily needs, and fostering a supportive environment.
Requirements
- Current PA Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA Certification)
- Genuine concern for the needs of older adults.
- Strong customer service skills with both internal & external customers.
- Must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday from 3 pm to 11 pm.
- Subject to Criminal Background Check and Drug Screening.

Responsibilities
- Providing professional, compassionate care to residents.
- Maintaining a person-centered, homelike environment while following the resident care profile and care plan.
- Carrying out written, oral, and diagram instructions while meeting the total health needs of the resident.
- Assisting residents during mealtimes.
- Encouraging and motivating residents to participate in therapies and activities.
- Providing friendly, timely, and responsive customer service to all.
