About The Position
Baptist Health is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for its Progressive Care Unit at Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville, Florida. The position assists Registered Nurses with the care of patients who have healthcare needs, working under RN supervision. Responsibilities include supporting patients with activities of daily living, maintaining a safe environment, collecting lab specimens, monitoring intake and output, and documenting in the electronic medical record. This is a full-time, night-shift position working 36 hours per week, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant required.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- No experience required.
Responsibilities
- Assist Registered Nurses with patient care under RN supervision.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Maintain a safe environment for patients.
- Collect lab specimens.
- Monitor intake and output.
- Document in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
