About The Position
As a Certified Nursing Assistant on the Medical-Surgical Unit, you will provide hands-on care and meaningful support to patients throughout their hospital stay. You will work collaboratively with the healthcare team and communicate compassionately with patients and families.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current CNA certification.
- Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain it as required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous hospital experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with bathing, dressing, toileting, nutrition, and other daily needs.
- Obtain and document vital signs and patient information.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning.
- Maintain patient comfort, safety, and dignity.
- Observe patients and report changes to nursing staff.
- Assist nurses with patient-care activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
- Communicate compassionately with patients and families.
- Accurately document care.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
