Certified Nursing Assistant - Intermediate Care

About The Position
As a Certified Nursing Assistant in Intermediate Care (IMCU), you provide hands-on support to patients who require specialized monitoring and care. You work closely with nurses and the care team while developing clinical experience. This role contributes directly to patient comfort, safety, and recovery in a collaborative environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current CNA certification.
- Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain it within the required timeframe.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care under the direction of nursing staff.
- Assist patients with hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and activities of daily living.
- Obtain and document vital signs and other patient information.
- Assist with repositioning, transfers, and safe patient mobility.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment.
- Assist nurses with patient-care activities and procedures.
- Observe patients and promptly report changes in condition.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team.
- Maintain patient dignity, privacy, and safety.
- Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
