About The Position
Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) have a direct impact on the day to day lives of the residents they care for. Derby Health and Rehab is looking for CNA's, FT 6a-2p and FT 2-10p, who want to put the residents first, build each other up and grow both personally and professionally.
Requirements
- Current state Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Dependability is a MUST.
Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with personal tasks such as feeding assistance, hydration, toileting, bathing, personal hygiene, transferring, ambulating, grooming, positioning, range of motion, restorative nursing, and other activities of daily living.
- Provides the setup, encouragement, transportation, and direct involvement for activities specific to the resident's interest.
- Help provide nutrition to residents that includes passing ice, providing snacks, setting the dining room tables, pouring drinks, sitting down with residents to eat and enjoying a conversation.
- Maintains personal and staff compliance to all State and Federal requirements and Resident’s Rights.
- Perform other duties as required.
