About The Position
At Tamarisk Senior Living, we’re looking for dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants to help us deliver exceptional care and create a warm, supportive environment for our residents. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of those who call Tamarisk home. Your work will directly impact the quality of life for our residents—and we’ll support you every step of the way.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant in the State of Rhode Island.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact compassionately with residents and their families.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative in individual responsibilities.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in senior care settings, such as assisted living facilities or nursing home, is preferred.
- Previous experience in dementia care is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with ADLs according to resident need.
- Monitor resident vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff.
- Document resident care activities accurately using electronic health records systems.
- Work effectively as a team in the delivery of care.
- Provide compassionate care for residents with dementia and cognitive challenges.
