Essential Job Duties include, but are not limited to: Perform basic personal care services such as take/record temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food/fluid intake and output; changing non-sterile dressing, and massaging. Provides residents' personal hygiene, and assisting with travel to the showers. Conduct and/or assist residents with range-of-motion exercises and movement to wheelchair or activity areas. Monitor client behavior and alert appropriate health care members to crises/concerns. Implements and documents safe, therapeutic, and efficient care as directed by nursing staff. Answer signals or intercom to determine residents’ needs; and uses designated communication mechanism for patients with impaired hearing, speaking skills, or language barriers. Support the psychological, social, spiritual, and cultural needs of the residents’. Attend and participate in staff training, staff meeting, and staff developments activities. Perform other duties as assigned.
