About The Position

This position provides patient care as assigned and per routine, according to the educational scope, standards of care, shift routines, and policies and procedures. The role involves answering call lights promptly, documenting care provided, maintaining a clean work and patient environment, and managing supplies. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Youth Apprentice may also float to various units based on identified patient care needs and participates in department or unit performance improvement activities.

Requirements

Completion of CNA certificate program
Participating in a Youth Apprentice program
Current CNA Certificate in applicable state.
Approved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days
