About The Position
Grand Valley Gardens is an assisted living facility located in Martinsville, Indiana, committed to both its residents and employees. This role offers a comprehensive, state-approved CNA training program designed to equip individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills to become a certified nursing assistant. The program includes hands-on training, classroom instruction, and clinical experience under the guidance of experienced healthcare professionals. It covers all aspects of patient care, including assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and providing emotional support. Upon completion, graduates will be prepared for the state certification exam and to begin a career as a CNA. Successful completion may lead to an offer of permanent employment.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate, written and oral
- Must be patient, have tact in dealing with others
- Extended periods of standing, bending, and heavy lifting
