We are offering a FREE class to become a certified nursing assistant (CNA) and help you start an exciting career in the healthcare field! Next Class Begins August 17th, 2026 Classes are held in person at Alderwood Park Health and Rehabilitation located at 2726 Alderwood Ave, Bellingham, WA 98225. 6 week program, classes are held Monday through Thursday approx 8:30am-4pm. Following successful class completion and CNA licensure is obtained, employment is offered at Stafholt Health and Rehabilitation in Blaine, WA. In the CNA class you will learn to: Assist residents with activities of daily living, preparing them for meals, social groups and appointments Ensure resident needs are being met routinely Review and follow care plans and identify any changes in their routine or care Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and a calm and cheerful environment. Ensure that resident’s rooms are ready for receiving and make residents comfortable. Participate in facility surveys by authorized government agencies.

Requirements

  • Must possess a minimum of a 10th grade education.
  • 18 years old
  • CPR certified preferred but not required
  • Must pass a background check
  • Must attend 100% of the scheduled classes in person
  • Facility will assist with testing and applying for required state licensure.
  • High school or equivalent (Required)
