Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required.
- Current BLS upon hire and maintain current.
- Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
- Current Phlebotomy certification or Competency required.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assists with activities of daily living
- Provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients
- Assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit
- Performs and records routine technical tasks such as vital signs, glucose monitoring, phlebotomy, collection of specimens, intake/output, and mass.
