About The Position

Seven Hills Pediatric Center, an Affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant - Teacher Assistant to work alongside their team in providing essential skills training and support to students with severe disabilities. This role is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference by helping students develop independence and reach their potential.

Requirements

• High school graduate/GED required.
• Must be Certified as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or willing to obtain certification within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Implement programs that support daily living activities, individual eating skills, and mobility.
• Facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote learning and social development.
• Assist with planning and participating in field trips and community experience programs.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation on students’ progress, ensuring accurate and thorough tracking of activities and goals.
• Work with an interdisciplinary team to plan activities, address student needs, and participate in department and unit meetings.
• Support students through behavioral programming and communication interventions, including assistive technology and computer-based solutions.
• Participate in the daily care and mobility programs of students, including lifting and transferring students as needed.
