About The Position

Sentara Pace is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a CNA. This is a Full Time, Day Shift position located in Portsmouth, VA. The role involves performing basic and routine patient care, such as personal hygiene, toileting, meal preparation and feeding, checking vital signs, intake/output, ambulation, and assisting patients with transfers between bed, toilet, and other areas of the PACE center or in the home.

Requirements

• Graduate of a state approved Nursing Assistant program/Trade School program (Required)
• CNA (Active in VA)

Responsibilities

• Performs basic and routine patient care, such as personal hygiene, toileting, meal preparation and feeding, checks vital signs, intake/output, ambulation and assists patient with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the PACE center or in the home.
