About The Position
Monterey Park Hospital, a 101-acute care facility located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant or Nursing Assistant for our Telemetry Unit. This is a per diem, 12-hour night shift position reporting to the Director of Critical Care Services.
Requirements
- Current BLS from the American Heart Association is required.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Current CA Nursing Assistant Certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Receives assignments from the Charge RN and takes direction from the RN &/or LVN.
- Directly responsible for the delivery of high-quality, individualized basic nursing care.
- Utilizes knowledge of the patient’s age, developmental status, spiritual and cultural diversity in the provision of patient care.
- Contributes to the provision of safety and quality nursing care that results in positive patient outcomes.
