This is a Full Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position on the Neuro/Tele unit, working 9 nights. The role involves assisting Registered Nurses (RNs) with the daily care of patients, including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, and ambulation. Responsibilities also include measuring and documenting vital signs and patient data, performing purposeful rounding, and participating in patient admission, transfer, and discharge processes. The CNA will collect specimens, perform point-of-care testing, and assist with patient positioning and nutritional needs. They will also be involved in maintaining skin integrity and may assist with tasks such as removing IVs or providing post-mortem care under RN direction. Adherence to infection prevention policies, including hand hygiene and aseptic procedures, is crucial. The position requires the ability to provide age-appropriate care based on the principles of growth and development.
