About The Position

Immanuel Communities is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant - Long Term Care to work at Deerfield, located at 13731 Hickman Road, Urbandale, IA 50323. Deerfield is a facility with 122 independent living apartment homes, 32 independent living patio homes, 20 assisted living units, 24 residential care apartment homes, and 30 long-term care/skilled nursing suites. This position offers a unique schedule of working every weekend from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am on Saturday and Sunday, totaling 24 hours per week. Notably, employees are paid for 32 hours per week, with an additional 8 hours of gifted pay as non-working hours. A holiday rotation commitment is also required. The pay rate for this position is up to $22.06 per hour, with compensation determined by experience, certifications, skills, and education.

Requirements

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Active member in good standing on the applicable state registry for CNA.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Medication Manager Certification may be required to be obtained within 60 days of employment.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

Assisting in various resident care activities and services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of residents including bathing.
