About The Position
We're looking for a CNA II Nursing Assistant to work in our Memory Support Assisted Living Unit within our senior living community in Rockville, MD. This is an on-call position with shifts available from 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am. The wage rate is $19.85 to $23.74 per hour, commensurate with experience, with differentials available.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One (1) to three (3) years of clinical nursing experience
- CNA II nursing Assistant required
- Ability to apply practical understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form
- High-quality verbal and written communication ability
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Knowledgeable in restorative and medical nursing principles and practices
- Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, standing, assisting mobility)
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility)
- Measure and record vital signs, intake/output, and basic observations
- Support patient mobility, transfers, and proper positioning
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment
- Assist with feeding and personal hygiene
- Observe and promptly report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines
- Provide compassionate emotional support to patients and families
