Certified Nursing Assistant I- PT
About The Position
We're looking for CNA I (formerly GNA) for our senior living community in Rockville, MD. Part-Time Shifts Available: 7am-3pm (wk1: Fri, Sat, wk2: Sun) every other weekend, 11pm-7am (wk1: Sun, Fri, wk2: Sat) both positions are 24 hours per pay period. Wage rate: $19.85 to $23.74 per hour commensurate with experience. Differentials available. Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One (1) to three (3) years of clinical nursing experience
- CNA I (formerly GNA) required
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form
- Possess high-quality verbal and written communication ability
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Knowledgeable in restorative and medical nursing principles and practices

Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility)
- Measure and record vital signs, intake/output, and basic observations
- Support patient mobility, transfers, and proper positioning
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment
- Assist with feeding and personal hygiene
- Observe and promptly report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines
- Provide compassionate emotional support to patients and families
