About The Position
This role involves assisting the nursing team with a variety of patient care activities related to services necessary in caring for the personal needs, comfort, and safety of the patients. The position also includes assisting with administrative tasks for the nursing team, supporting patient hygiene and dressing changes as needed, and providing clinical and administrative support to the nursing staff throughout the shift.
Requirements
- Enrollment in high school or high school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Wisconsin (Active or expired and on the registry)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Associate (AHA); or ability to obtain upon hire
Responsibilities
- Assist the nursing team with a variety of patient care activities related to services necessary in caring for the personal needs, comfort, and safety of the patients.
- Assist with administrative type tasks for the nursing team.
- Assist with patient’s personal hygiene and dressing changes as needed.
- Support the nursing staff as needed throughout the shift both clinically and administrative.
