Requirements
- Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- Reliable, professional, and dependable work ethic
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Nice To Haves
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
- Experience in Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, Post-Acute Care, Memory Care, or Long-Term Care preferred
- Compassionate and resident-focused approach to care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered care while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence
- Monitor residents and promptly report changes in condition to licensed nursing staff
- Take and document vital signs as assigned
- Assist with meal service, hydration, and nutritional support
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements
- Help provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Answer resident call lights promptly and respectfully
- Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, physicians, and interdisciplinary care team members
- Support residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being
