Free CNA Training Class
About The Position
Bethlehem Woods is offering a FREE Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program. This program is designed for individuals with a caring spirit who wish to turn it into a career. No previous experience is required, only a commitment to providing compassionate care. The training takes place over a two-week period, including 30 hours of classroom work and 45 hours of hands-on clinical training. Upon completion and passing the state test, graduates will have opportunities to work at ASC's 100 locations across Indiana, with further career advancement pathways in nursing available.
Requirements
- Commitment to providing compassionate care to residents.
- Completion of the Nurse Aide training program and testing.
- Ability to work with and be supported by ASC instructors, nurses, and CNAs.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience is not required.
Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming tasks.
- Helping residents at mealtimes, including transportation and feeding assistance.
- Repositioning and transferring residents between beds and wheelchairs, or to the toilet.
- Obtaining resident vital signs and recording observations.
- Answering patient call lights and fulfilling requests.
- Building meaningful relationships with residents, providing companionship.
- Providing compassionate care to residents.
