About The Position

Auburn Village has immediate openings for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) at our facility in Auburn, Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity to serve a growing population of adults in need of short or long term care, while gaining valuable clinical experience. Expanded and renovated in 2017, Auburn Village is recognized as one of the premier skilled nursing facilities in Indiana. Requirements

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensed in the State of Indiana
  • High School diploma or G.E.D.
  • Must speak, read and write English
  • Knowledge of JCAHO, OBRA, IDPH and HFS regulations
  • Must have a good attendance record and longevity at previous jobs
  • Basic computer skills
  • Personable and professional
  • Must maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards
  • Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding of older adults

Nice To Haves

  • Long-Term Care facility experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist nurses by providing ADL services: bathing, grooming, dressing, meals, etc.
  • Document vital signs, weight, meal intake, bowel and bladder, etc.
  • Assist with Restorative Nursing duties
  • Answer call lights promptly
