Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Part time varying shifts
About The Position
This is an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) where residents do NOT require skilled care. Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) play a significant role in helping residents feel safe, supported, and on track with their psychological rehabilitation and recovery goals. You will be part of a close-knit behavioral health team that truly cares and works together every day. The role involves supporting guests with daily care, encouraging healthy routines, creating a calm, positive, and respectful environment, working alongside nurses, therapists, and coordinators, and being a steady, friendly presence that residents can count on, assisting in de-escalating behavioral issues.
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification in IL
- Prior experience or desire to work with behavioral population is helpful, but not required
Responsibilities
- Support Guests with daily care and encourage healthy routines
- Help create a calm, positive, and respectful environment
- Work alongside nurses, therapists, and coordinators as part of a strong care team
- Be a steady, friendly presence residents can count on and help de-escalate behavioral issues
