Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Part time varying shifts
About The Position
This is an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF). Our residents do NOT require skilled care, therefore your CNA job is a little different here. At our behavioral health center (an Independent Care Facility or ICF), CNAs play a big role in helping our “residents” feel safe, supported, and on track with their psychological rehab and recovery goals. You’ll be part of a close-knit behavioral health team that truly cares and works together every day. Our patients are ambulatory so there is less lifting than in a SNF or hospital. iPads are provided for quick and easy bedside documentation.
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification in IL
- Prior experience or desire to work with behavioral population is helpful, but not required
Responsibilities
- Support Guests with daily care and encourage healthy routines
- Help create a calm, positive, and respectful environment
- Work alongside nurses, therapists, and coordinators as part of a strong care team
- Be a steady, friendly presence residents can count on and help de-escalate behavioral issues
