About The Position

This is a 6-week assignment for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at the San Antonio Med Center LTACH, offering $25 per hour. The role involves performing various patient care activities and accommodative services under the supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. The CNA will not administer medications or therapy and does not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Job duties are to be performed in accordance with PAM Health policies and procedures.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state where the hospital resides.
Current BLS certification is required.
A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred.

Responsibilities

Performing various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse.
Performing patient care activities within the limits of the position.
Not administering medications or therapy.
Not assuming independent responsibility for patient care.
Accomplishing job duties in a manner consistent with the policies, procedures and guidelines of PAM Health.
Performing other related duties as assigned or requested.
