About The Position

This is an internal 13-week assignment position for a Registered Nurse (RN) at $55 per hour. The role involves utilizing the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise care to patients on a nursing unit. Responsibilities include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. The position may also involve Charge Nurse duties, which require ACLS certification.

Requirements

Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
Current BLS certification is required.
BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Nice To Haves

One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

Utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
Planning, coordinating, and providing patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources.
Performing other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).
