The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will be responsible for a variety of tasks to support patient care and center operations. This includes locating patients, obtaining vital signs, triaging patients, assessing their medical condition, and preparing them for examinations and treatments. The CNA will also assist with ordering medical supplies, notifying medical staff when patients are ready, and assisting with patient treatments. Responsibilities extend to instrument sterilization, laundry management, receiving and restocking supplies, and maintaining the cleanliness of treatment areas in accordance with OSHA guidelines. The role requires understanding and utilizing the electronic medical record system, operating medical equipment, completing assigned checklists, and fostering a positive and professional team environment. The CNA must be adaptable and available to assist as needed, understanding that breaks may be interrupted for patient care or center operations. Providing warm and friendly service is essential in all interactions.
