About The Position

Griswold Home Care of Columbia is looking to recruit a capable part time Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA to provide companionship and perform care giving duties for hospice clients. This position offers a competitive wage of $23.50/hr and flexible hours, with day shift opportunities available in the Easley area. Nice To Haves

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
2+ years of CNA or home care experience would be a plus; caring for a loved one counts.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and perform care giving duties for hospice clients.
Assist clients with daily tasks to allow them to live as independently as possible.
Perform light housekeeping duties.
Prepare meals.
Grocery shopping.
Provide care giving services to clients with cognitive impairments or dementia.
Assist with non-medical tasks such as feeding and bathing.
Maintain proper personal hygiene for clients.
Keep a log of duties performed during the shift.
Submit accurate documentation.
Check in with the office often, providing timely updates regarding client needs.
