Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
About The Position
San Luis Care Center, a Life Care Center of America facility, is seeking a qualified Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their team. The CNA will be an important member of the interdisciplinary team, responsible for providing routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The role involves delivering direct care to patients, including bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting, as directed. The facility is located in Alamosa, Colorado, and is recognized for its high-performing short-term rehabilitation and 5-star CMS Quality Measures Rating.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of a State-approved CNA program
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
- Deliver direct care to patients, including bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting, as directed.
- Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
- Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
