About The Position

Griswold Home Care of Kent and Washington counties is looking to hire a capable part-time Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA to provide companionship and perform caregiving duties. The CNA is responsible for keeping a log of duties performed, submitting accurate documentation, and providing timely updates to the office.

Requirements

Reliable transportation
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
6 months of CNA or home care experience (caring for a loved one counts).
Willingness to train.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and perform caregiving duties for elderly clients.
Assist clients with daily tasks to promote independence.
Perform light housekeeping duties.
Prepare meals.
Perform grocery shopping.
Provide caregiving services to clients with cognitive impairments or dementia.
Assist with non-medical tasks such as feeding and bathing.
Help clients maintain proper personal hygiene.
Keep a log of duties performed during the shift.
Submit accurate documentation to ensure consistent elderly care.
Check in with the office often, providing timely updates regarding client needs.
