We are actively seeking CNAs for current staffing needs at facilities like Daughters of Sarah in Albany, NY. These facilities have significant CNA staffing needs across all shifts (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM), with weekend availability being especially needed. Attentive Care is growing its CNA staffing team to meet the needs of its facility partners and to position for future opportunities. As a CNA with Attentive Care, you will provide hands-on care to help residents remain safe, comfortable, and supported, playing a vital role in enhancing residents' quality of life.

Requirements

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New York State.
Eligibility to work in the United States.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to work within 25 miles of the facility where you are assigned.

Nice To Haves

Recent experience working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a plus.
Availability for day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care by assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, oral hygiene, eating, and mobility.
Obtain, record, and report vital signs, intake and output, weights, and other observations, promptly communicating changes in residents' condition to the nursing team.
Assist residents with safe transfers, ambulation, repositioning, and range-of-motion exercises using proper body mechanics and mechanical lifting equipment when appropriate.
Respond promptly to resident call lights and provide timely assistance while promoting comfort, dignity, and independence.
Assist with meal service, feeding, hydration, and nutritional support in accordance with each resident's care plan.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe resident rooms and care areas while adhering to infection prevention, isolation, and standard precaution protocols.
Observe and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, or mental status, documenting care provided in accordance with facility policies.
Build positive, respectful relationships with residents, families, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team to support high-quality, person-centered care.
Follow all safety, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements while maintaining resident privacy and dignity at all times.
