At Harlem Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, our team of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life and comfort for our residents. We are looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing team at Harlem Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. In this role, you will assist residents with daily activities, support their physical needs, and provide compassionate care to help improve their quality of life. As a CNA, you will collaborate closely with nursing staff to deliver exceptional care while maintaining a safe and supportive environment for our residents.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid New York State CNA license (or Patient Care Technician license )
  • Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • COVID-19 vaccination required

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in long-term care and familiarity with PointClickCare

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, feeding, and bowel/bladder functions
  • Measure and record vital signs as part of routine assessments
  • Observe residents for changes in condition and report findings to nursing staff
  • Assist with Range of Motion exercises and ambulation to support rehabilitation
  • Collaborate effectively with nursing and other healthcare personnel
  • Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures as directed by care plans
  • Help with lifting, moving, positioning, and transporting residents safely
  • Review and follow residents' care plans to ensure proper care delivery
  • Maintain a positive, compassionate, and supportive environment for residents
  • Complete all assigned tasks efficiently and within the CNA scope of practice
