About The Position
Preferred Care at Home of The Villages, a nationwide senior care company, is actively hiring dependable CNAs for PRN assignments in Lady Lake, FL & Surrounding Areas. We offer flexible scheduling and a team that values your work. Interviews can be conducted from home via Zoom.
Requirements
- Active FL CNA Certification with 2 years of experience
- Must have valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
- Must pass background screening
- High school diploma/GED
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting and incontinence care)
- Provide mobility support and transfers
- Use assistive devices (gait belt, walker, wheelchair, Hoyer lift)
- Assist in fall prevention and general safety awareness
- Help reposition bedbound clients to prevent discomfort
- Offer companionship and daily living assistance
- Follow care plans and ensure client safety
- Light housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Engage clients in hobbies, games, or activities
- Monitor for changes in mood or behavior
- Provide conversation and social interaction
- Provide reminders to take medications as scheduled
